Child Abuse Prevention Month- April 2024
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Join us on social media throughout the month of April in learning about the prevalence of child sexual abuse in Kent County, and what you can do in your community to help halt its cycle.
Other ways to get involved and support the Center include:
- Sponsor a “Wear Blue Day” to raise awareness of the prevalence of child sexual abuse. Our goal is to have wear blue days occurring daily throughout the month. Materials will be provided to engage your team and promote efforts.
- Host a jeans day fundraiser at your workplace to benefit the Center.
- Make a donation to the Center and help us prevent abuse and mitigate impacts of trauma for survivors.
All of these efforts will benefit programs like Kids Have Rights™ which provides body safety education to over 25,000 K-4 students annually. Your support will also help us connect survivors with hope, healing, and justice.

17th Annual Believe the Child Luncheon- May 7, 2024
