KIDZ Have Rights—Your Body Belongs toYou: a body-safety program

In cooperation with area organizations, KIDZ Have Rights teaches body safety to 6000 children each year in 3rd through 5th grades, also encouraging them to report sexual assault.  This program is being implemented throughout the Grand Rapids Public Schools and in schools in the Kent County Intermediate School District.

Community and Parent Seminars

The Center hosts education seminars using Darkness 2 Light curriculum to inform the community of their role in preventing child sexual abuse.

Mandated Reporter Training

Seminars are offered to adults classified as mandatory reporters of suspected child sexual assault through regular local meetings and an annual conference with attendees from throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
